{"id":3621,"date":"2015-12-21T22:55:49","date_gmt":"2015-12-22T03:55:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/resources.evans-legal.com\/?p=3621"},"modified":"2016-06-27T08:51:15","modified_gmt":"2016-06-27T12:51:15","slug":"vacating-local-orphans-court-rules","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resources.evans-legal.com\/?p=3621","title":{"rendered":"Vacating Local Orphans&#8217; Court Rules"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After entering an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pacourts.us\/assets\/opinions\/Supreme\/out\/682spct.pdf?cb=1\" target=\"_blank\">order<\/a> adopting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pacourts.us\/assets\/opinions\/Supreme\/out\/682spct-attach.pdf?cb=1\" target=\"_blank\">new Orphans\u2019 Court rules<\/a>, generally effective September 1, 2016 (see <em>In re: Order Rescinding and Replacing Rules 1.1 through 13.3 and Rule 17, and Amendment Rules 14.1 through 16.12 of the Pennsylvania Orphans Court Rules<\/em>, No. 682 Supreme Court Rules Docket (12\/1\/2015), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pabulletin.com\/secure\/data\/vol45\/45-51\/2208.html\" target=\"_blank\">45 Pa.B. 7098<\/a> (12\/19\/2015)), the Supreme Court entered an order directing that local rules for which there is a &#8220;continued necessity&#8221; should be submitted to the Orphans&#8217; Court Procedural Rules Committee for review no later than June 1, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Local rules that are not reviewed and adopted under new Pa.O.C.
