Ch. 3<\/a> (which was enacted in Pennsylvania as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legis.state.pa.us\/CFDOCS\/LEGIS\/LI\/uconsCheck.cfm?txtType=HTM&amp;yr=2013&amp;sessInd=0&amp;smthLwInd=0&amp;act=0073.\">Act No. 73 of 2013<\/a>), was to become effective only after the Department of State gave notice that is has approved notary education courses.<\/p>\n<p>The Department has now given notice of those courses, and has announced that the act will be completely effective on 10\/26\/2017 (180 days after publication of the notice).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts,&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pabulletin.com\/secure\/data\/vol47\/47-17\/729.html\">47 Pa.B. 2518<\/a> (4\/29\/2017).<\/p>\n<p>[For the short form certificate for an acknowledgement by an attorney at law pursuant to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legis.state.pa.us\/cfdocs\/legis\/LI\/consCheck.cfm?txtType=HTM&amp;ttl=42&amp;div=0&amp;chpt=3&amp;sctn=27&amp;subsctn=0\">42 Pa.C.S. \u00a7 327<\/a>, see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legis.state.pa.us\/cfdocs\/legis\/LI\/consCheck.cfm?txtType=HTM&amp;ttl=57&amp;div=0&amp;chpt=3&amp;sctn=16&amp;subsctn=0\">57 P.C.S. \u00a7 316(2.1)<\/a>.]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Much of the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts, 57 Pa.C.S.
