Rule Requiring Confidential Information Form"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Supreme Court has <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pacourts.us\/assets\/opinions\/Supreme\/out\/Attachment%20-%20104971410153124884.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">amended Pa.R.O.C.P. 1.99<\/a> to require the use of &#8220;confidential information forms&#8221; (and not the filing of redacted documents) to comply with the public access policy in the Orphans&#8217; Court.  As explained in the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pacourts.us\/assets\/opinions\/Supreme\/out\/Report%20-%20104971410153125064.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">adoption report of the Orphans&#8217; Court Procedural Rules Committee<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pacourts.us\/assets\/opinions\/Supreme\/out\/Order%20Entered%20-%20104971410153125066.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">this order<\/a> conforms the O.C. rules with <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pacodeandbulletin.gov\/Display\/pabull?file=\/secure\/pabulletin\/data\/vol51\/51-43\/1748.html\" target=\"_blank\">the change in the public access policy that was made in October<\/a>.  The amendment is effective on January 1, 2022.  &#8220;Order Amending Rule 1.99 of the Pennsylvania Rules of Orphans&#8217; Court Procedure,&#8221; <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pacourts.us\/assets\/opinions\/Supreme\/out\/Order%20Entered%20-%20104971410153125066.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">No. 892 S.C.
