McGreevy<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/scholar_case?case=15624690812574372502\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">270 A.3d 1<\/a>,  <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pacourts.us\/assets\/opinions\/Superior\/out\/J-A20022-21o%20-%20105010155156599830.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">2022 PA Super 8<\/a> (1\/11\/2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[DBE Comment:  In <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/resources.evans-legal.com\/?p=2779\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Rights of Creditors in Non-Estate Assets,&#8221;<\/a> it was suggested that an IRA remains exempt from the claims of the creditors of the account owner following the death of the account owner, and that conclusion does not seem to be affected by the <em>Jones<\/em> decision, which addressed claims of creditors of the beneficiary and not creditors of the account owner.
