{"id":9911,"date":"2023-08-11T08:52:23","date_gmt":"2023-08-11T12:52:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resources.evans-legal.com\/?p=9911"},"modified":"2023-08-11T08:52:25","modified_gmt":"2023-08-11T12:52:25","slug":"proposed-amendment-to-appellate-procedure-for-orphans-court-appeals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resources.evans-legal.com\/?p=9911","title":{"rendered":"Proposed Amendment to Appellate Procedure for Orphans&#8217; Court Appeals"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Appellate Court Procedural Rules Committee has proposed changes to the Rules of Appellate Procedure that would require the notice of appeal in an appeal from the Orphans&#8217; Court to specifically state that it is an Orphans&#8217; Court appeal, which is defined as an appeal under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pacodeandbulletin.gov\/Display\/pacode?file=\/secure\/pacode\/data\/210\/chapter3\/s342.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pa.R.A.P. 342<\/a>.
